Hey there! Seun here (pronounced Shay-oon). After a long internal struggle as to whether to do this or not, I finally decided to start a blog.
I should have done this a lot earlier but I always came up with excuses telling myself: what if I'm not good enough?, what do I have to say that the world hasn't already heard before?, am I even intelligent enough to pass good information? All sorts of self-doubt and procastination, until I had a (life-changing ๐) conversation with a friend/mentor. Now I am here, doing this.
About me, I am a software engineer, living my best life on the server-side (what most people know as back-end). My favorite language to use is Java, I build web apps using the Spring framework for Java. C# .NET was my first love, I had a rocky relationship with her, but I loved her all the same, then SpringBoot came and swept me off my feet. I still relate well with C#, so I don't get rusty. (Please don't tell Spring)
So, I would be posting here from time to time. I'm not entirely sure of the frequency at which I'll do this, but I intend to write my thoughts here, so at the very least, I would have a lot of drafts, then I decide on what to post and publish it here for you to see.
I am still a novice at formatting and making the post properly structured, but I'll learn as I go. Hopefully, I improve my writing skills with time and practice.
What to expect here, I would be talking mostly about software engineering topics, focused on back-end technologies, Cloud technologies and DevOps. I'll do my best to make it as readable as possible. Personally, I find some programming blogs very difficult to read, and I intend to fix that here.
Thanks for reading up until this point and take care.
